Jungfraujoch 2

The weather closed in on us a bit so we decided to visit a couple of the indoor attractions; firstly Alpine Sensations which is a series of tableaux depicting miners and travellers when the railway was first constructed, plus several things we didn't really have a clue what they signified.

I love the way that words are just run together in German and Swiss.

I'm assuming this is Hotel Bellevue des Alpes in Kleine Schedeigg but of course when we were down there earlier today it was a complete whiteout behind the hotel.

And a pile of karst in case anyone didn't believe their claim.

We then headed for the Ice Palace and, once we'd left the rubber matting, slid our way along the corridors.

The ice sculptures were very clever but left me rather cold (pun intended!)

This is the Chinese pianist Lang Lang, who played during one of the challenges.  Each year there are promotional challenges undertaken on the Top of Europe, eg. playing football or golf.
.

I didn't even know Basil Brush was a thing in Switzerland.

Luckily it was quieter when we left so we could hog the handrail.
